A Powerful Retreat Experience!

The She’s on Fire retreat I had the privilege of serving at was birthed through True North Fishes and Loaves, an amazing trio of women who have a passion to see a real tangible move of God that impacts women and sets them on fire!

The day started with great worship from my good friend Taunja Hoole, who knows what it means to be the lead worshiper, bringing all of us into the presence of God with grace and truth, making way for Holy Spirit to do His sweet work.

Starting us off with a shout was Pastor Melinda Knight of the Rock Church, who came with a bold, exciting word for the ladies, encouraging us to be the spark that helps set the whole valley ablaze for Jesus! It was the right beginning for the rest that followed!

Our next speaker was Elizabeth Lambert-Brown, who came with transparency and a message of joy through loss and pain. Her message found many women right where they were, and Holy Spirit truly ministered through her.

One of the best parts of the retreat was sharing hearts with so many wonderful women from different churches, different age groups, and different backgrounds, yet in the midst of our differences, we found great unity in our love and passion for Jesus as well as a hunger for Awakening and Reformation!

A short weekend, but God answered all the prayer that went into it, and what began the year before in the midst of a real fire, was the seed that sparked what God did over our two days together. It was well worth it, and everyone is looking forward to next year!!
